Flat Sarah in Japan - Day 4

| | Comments (0)

Today Flat Sarah had go sight seeing solo as I woke up this morning not being able to walk. I can hobble and I can hop on one foot, but walking really really hurts. Nothing is broken, but the blister on the bottom of my foot is about the diameter of a golf ball - It's not pretty.

Not being able to move around really put a halt to my day. I passed the time today by eating, sleeping, and sitting. The weather was great today and I really wanted to get outside in the yard, but I just couldn’t manage it. Spending all day stationary made me realize how grateful I am to have the ability to walk on two feet.

Curtis and I swapped schools for the new school year so tomorrow will be my first day teaching at Takanosu Junior High School. It’s going to be really interesting teaching there tomorrow if I still can’t walk.

Flat Sarah totally understood that I wasn’t able to leave the house today and she took it upon herself to go exploring on her own. Take a look at what she got into today. Good night and we’ll be in touch.
