i can build

Since first arriving to Nagashima I have often thought about how nice it would be to have an outside bench. Wanting a place to sit while having breakfast, reading a book, throwing a barbecue party or simply enjoying my garden are reasons why I finally decided to go to the store and buy the supplies to make it. Prior to this project I didn't really have any building experience so I gave dad a call and discussed the plan with him before plugging in any power tools. Working every day after work until dark I was able to finish in a little under a week. It was great fun to make and I’m quite satisfied with how it turned out. For my next project I plan on building something from the drift wood I find along the ocean shore. I’ve already gathered quite a selection of wood so it shouldn’t be too long before I have enough to start building again.
