M I C K E Y M O U S E

During spring break I boarded an 18 hour night bus from Kyushu to Tokyo where I spent a week with Koko during my school’s spring vacation. The night bus took me directly to Tokyo Disney Sea where Koko met me at the entrance gate to the park. Together we spent an afternoon with Mickey Mouse visiting attractions like Tower of Terror and Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Despite that it was both cold and rainy on the day I arrived to Tokyo the park was packed to full of other people also looking for a weekend get-a-way at Disney. The wait for most of the attractions lasted at least 2 hours and even the lines for snacks like popcorn had lines that were about ½ and hour.

Koko and I didn’t let the less than perfect weather conditions or the crowds of other tourists damper our spirits, however, as we had a great time walking throughout the park with each other just merely being in the presence of everything that was occurring all around us.
