beat the heat!

Summer vacation is just a couple of weeks around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited! Teaching in July is tough on the island because schools here don't have air conditioning. So when its 97 degrees outside, like it was today, it can get pretty HOT in the classroom. This week, however, I was lucky and one of my favorite schools invited me to teach English at the swimming pool. Playing games and singing songs with the kids in the pool was a great way to beat the heat too! I wish that all of my schools would invite me to play at the pool. It’s way more fun than the classroom! Enjoy these pictures.
